As in the Renaissance era, “at the workshop” of the professional to acquire not only the theory, but the design method, the tricks of the trade, and the sensitivity needed to design the only means of transport that moves between two fluids, air and water. A special workshop, attentive to the environment and the use of eco-sustainable technologies, to educate the contemporary naval architect in the field, a professional figure midway between technician and artist. LECTURES IN ATTENDANCE
Live streaming lectures in Italian language with Massimo Paperini Architect in attendance.
Duration 10 months, lessons twice a week of 4 hours for a total of 350 hours of frontal lessons and laboratory.
Yacht design workshop with the Architect in attendance which in addition to covering the topics Yacht Design fundamentals , following the path taken by the professional during the elaboration of the executive project, transmits all the secrets of the trade, explaining and communicating them by showing drawings, images and video of boats actually designed and built.
The yacht design profession today faces new challenges for which designers must prepare themselves. From respect for the environment, construction methods and materials used, to the ever-increasing need for fuel efficiency and safety, the requirements for yacht design are becoming more and more stringent. This changing landscape calls for a new generation of designers, capable of embracing tradition in the face of new regulatory and market guidelines as well as integration with new technologies and new life styles.
