Yacht Design Lab – Recorded Lessons

An English language course consisting of 16 chapters divided into four modules. Each chapter consists of several recorded lessons of approximately one hour each. After following the lectures in each chapter you will be able to develop forms, calculations and drawings which at the end of the sixteen chapters will form the complete plans of a project. As well as covering the fundamental topics of Yacht Design, the course takes you step by step through the Naval Architect’s journey as they develop an executive project.

1- Basic knowledge of mathematics and physics

2 – 2D CAD (Autocad)

3 – 3D modelling (Rhinoceros)

Preliminary tutorial and lectures may be provided to meet the requirements for participation in the workshop (see Workshop-Support).

For each chapter, one or more tasks relating to the subject matter will be assigned. These tasks will be reviewed and corrected by a Naval Architect. Upon completion of the sixteen chapters and therefore of the project theme of the course, a certificate of participation will be issued.

The registered lessons can be purchased as whole at a discounted price of € 600 + VAT, otherwise in groups of four lessons at a cost of € 200 each
